Technology Class Policies

1. Do not enter or leave the Technology Lab without Mr. Bucci’s permission.  If he is not in the room, line up quietly in the hallway.
2. If you are not in the Technology Lab by the time the late bell rings, you are considered late and must present a pass.
3. Your technology folder is required for every class.  Your folder will be checked and graded at regular intervals.
4. Cutting class is against school policy and will be dealt with by the proper administrator.
5. Stealing will be dealt with either administrative or legal means.
6. Any student intentionally damaging equipment and/or tools will be held responsible.
7. Place your name and class information on all your work.
8. Electronic devices are not to be visible in class otherwise they will be confiscated.
9. You are responsible to know and abide by all Technology Lab grading criteria, class rules, and school rules.
10. Absolutely NO horseplay of any kind (running, singing, shouting, dancing, games of any kind, throwing any items & etc.) allowed in the Technology Lab.
11. Never use a machine until you have been instructed in its use and have permission.  Clean the machine and/or work area promptly after using it.
12. Report injuries to Mr. Bucci, immediately. 
13. If you break something, report it to Mr. Bucci so he can repair or replace it.
14. Extra care must be taken when working with a hot glue gun, wood-burning tool, or soldering iron.
15. Always use the proper tool for the right job.
16. Always carry and handle sharp edge tools with the point or edge to the floor.  Keep fingers away from the cutting edge.
